Seed Money Grant Scheme
The overarching aim of the seed money support projects is to inspire and empower faculty members within our university to pioneer innovative solutions and engage in high-quality research endeavours. By fostering a culture of exploration and experimentation, these projects are poised to yield a myriad of advantages for our society while unlocking the latent potential of our esteemed faculty. Through these initiatives, faculty members will be encouraged to conceptualize and develop groundbreaking structures, pushing the boundaries of knowledge and driving forward the frontiers of their respective fields. Moreover, these projects shall serve as a catalyst for personal and professional growth, offering faculty members the opportunity to refine their skills, expand their expertise, and make significant contributions to their disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria:
Regular faculty members of DBUU are eligible to apply under the scheme. To be considered for the roles of Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI), candidates must meet the minimum qualification of holding a master’s degree in the pertinent field.
Funding Support:
A financial grant of up to 5 lakhs will be available for the projects under different categories of Research and development.

At its essence, Laghu Anusandhan Research Program represents a bold endeavour to catalyze a transformative educational experience for our undergraduate students. It is not merely a program; it is a paradigm shift—a departure from conventional pedagogical approaches towards a dynamic, experiential learning journey. By providing a platform for undergraduate student research, we endeavour to ignite the flames of curiosity, ingenuity, and scholarly exploration within each participant. In a rapidly evolving world where the boundaries of knowledge are ever-expanding, the need for young minds equipped with the tools of inquiry, critical thinking, and innovation has never been more pressing. Laghu Anusandhan Research Program stands as our resolute response to this imperative, offering a fertile ground for the germination of groundbreaking ideas, the pursuit of novel discoveries, and the cultivation of intellectual courage.
Eligibility Criteria:
- All undergraduate students enrolled in the University are eligible to submit proposals. The approach encourages students to pursue cross-disciplinary research by allowing them to select their own teams and mentors.
- Each proposal must be coordinated by a faculty member who will serve as the project supervisor (maximum two only).
- Students must have completed at least two semesters of their undergraduate program to be eligible to submit a proposal.

Funding Support:
- This initiative will provide students with funding upto Rs 25,000 per project. Selected research projects will receive funding from the University to cover expenses such as materials, equipment, travel, and participant compensation
Policy for promotion of research & innovative ecosystem
The University places a strong emphasis on fostering a dynamic environment conducive to research and innovation. In line with this commitment, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU) actively supports the Promotion of Research & Innovative Ecosystem by offering financial assistance to its esteemed faculty members. This assistance is designed to enable faculty members to actively engage in various academic forums such as conferences, seminars, symposia, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, and specialized training programs.
By providing financial support, the University empowers faculty members to participate in these significant events, both as attendees and organizers. This support not only facilitates their professional development but also contributes to the advancement of knowledge and the dissemination of groundbreaking research findings.
Objectives:
- To encourage the active participation and paper presentation by faculty members in conferences, seminars, symposia, FDPs,workshops and training programs etc.
- To ensure the overall development of the faculty members by gaining knowledge through participation and organizing conferences, seminars, symposia, FDPs, workshops and training programs, etc.

Eligibility:
All full-time faculty members of the University may apply for financial assistance and leave to attend conferences, seminar, symposia, or workshops. The part-time faculty’s request may be considered on special circumstances on approval of the committee
Research Incentive Policy

In acknowledgment of the indispensable value of research publications as vehicles for disseminating new insights and discoveries, DBUU is proud to introduce theResearch Publication Incentive Policy.
Eligibility:
All full-time faculty members of DBUU are eligible to participate in the Research Publication Incentive Program.
- Publication in peer-reviewed journals: Faculty members will receive incentives for publishing their research findings in peer-reviewed journals. The amount of incentive will be determined based on the impact factor and reputation of the journal, as well as the authorship contribution of the faculty member.
- Co-authorship: In cases where faculty members collaborate with colleagues, they will receive partial incentives based on their contribution to the research.
